SELF WATERING SYSTEM

Abstract

self watering system is a watering system created for the purpose of automatic watering of trees or plants. With this system in place, watering activities can be carried out more efficiently and more effectively. This is because we can save time and do not need manpower. The use of Arduino and sensors such as moisture sensors on watering systems can keep the system functioning without being controlled by humans. For example, when all moisture sensors detect dry soil conditions and the day conditions are not rainy, the solenoid will get instructions from those sensors to open. In addition, the use of sprinklers in this system ensures that the water production rate is the same for each tree and plant. Next, the use of solar as a tool to supply power to the battery for the purpose of this system can function. As a conclusion, this system is highly recommended to be used as it will provide convenience to consumers in terms of time and energy as well as to maintain the quality and breed of crops. As a suggestion and improvement in the future, the system can be innovated in smaller and lighter kits to make it easier for users to maintain.
